Shawn Keenan has been working with computers for 22 years. In 2000, after completing undergraduate degrees in Science and Commerce at UBC, Shawn took the Information Technology Professional Program at BCIT where he achieved the ITP designation. In this program, Shawn also became CompTIA A+ Certified, a Certified Novell Administrator (CNA), a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), and a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE). After a brief stint working with Shaw as a Technical Support Representative, Shawn started his consulting career at Imaginative Computer Solutions (ICS) in North Vancouver in 2001. The experience lasted 4 years and exposed Shawn to numerous technically challenging situations. In 2005, Shawn started Keentech Solutions to provide the same high level of technical expertise to a new clientele. In October of 2007, Keentech Solutions won the High Tech category of the Douglas College Entrepreneur of the Year Awards. In April of 2009, Shawn welcomed Peter Johnson to join him as a partner.
Peter Johnson has been working with computers for 20 years. In 1999 Peter took an Information Technology program at Capilano College. After this program, Peter became CompTIA A+ Certified, a Certified Novell Administrator (CNA), and a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP). Peter started his consulting career in 2000 at Imaginative Computer Solutions (ICS) in North Vancouver. Peter worked with many different industries and technologies at ICS before moving on to Robeez Footwear in 2004. During his time at Robeez, Peter held the title of Network Administrator where his duties ranged from hardware/software purchasing to network security planning. Peter was responsible for supporting 20+ servers and 200+ desktops as well as a complete e-commerce platform. In 2006, Robeez was purchased by the Stride Rite Corporation where a 3 year integration/turn down was set in motion. During the integration, Peter worked closely with the technical team at Stride Rite to spearhead a plan to virtualize the entire network and ultimately relocate it to Stride Rite data centers in the US. In March of 2009, Robeez closed all local offices prompting Peter to seek alternate ventures with Keentech Solutions.
